2009 JASCARS REVIEW!
Filed Under community, culture, experience, perspective

Flash bulbs were popping, hugs were exchanged, styles were unprecedented, and a night was made to remember! It was the 2009 JASCARS. A celebration of the life, family, and friendship of decade-long friends, Josh Coy (me ) & Amy Seiffert. The red carpet was rolled out as the Who’s Who of Bowling Green and beyond filled the the historic Clazel Theater with laughter, films, and love.
The film fest portion of the evening was incredible. 5 submissions were made and the audience voted, awarding JASCARS in the following categories:
Cinematography
Film Editing
Foreign Film
Best Director
Best Actress
Best Actor
and of course Best Picture
I hope to roll out more of the films debuted last night and photos soon. But, for now, I present to you a collaboration of myself, Amy Seiffert, and Rob Seiffert. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you “GENRE3.”

Other Lives

I can’t help it, I must share this music flowing out of Stillwater, Oklahoma. I was listening in my car ride to my parents today, this band. I thought I had to share them with you. Rarely do I meet a list of tracks I am willing to trust, but somehow this band does it. I’m talking about “Other Lives.” Seems like these guys got bigger with a Grey’s Anatomy track at some point, but I just found ‘em and I’m savoring their sound. So, here I give you a delicious track from this cozy ensemble. Lemme know what you think!

I’m such a bad bad bad blogger these days. I think Twitter has changed me (the ‘What I’m Doing’ thing on the left.) If you twitter, follow me! (joshcoy) It’s a a ton of small updates throughout the day/week, instead of a bulky blog post. Give it a go, if u haven’t already.
Anywho, things are well in this flat, corner of Ohio. We as team CRU are wrapping up with our final week here at BGSU. Exciting, sad, reflective week for sure. I’ve been inspired by the staff and students this year, really looking forward to next Fall.
This summer, I’m headed to Chicago, IL to staff Summer Project! So excited. My favorite city, doing my favorite thing.
I wanted to share this artist with you, thanks to my buddy Tim in Portland. The guy’s name is John Mark McMillan A refreshing approach to “worship.”
